Firefox - Context Menu Search

Using Firefox's Context Menu Search to find information

What it is
A google search on any word or phrase in a web page, available from the context menu. Select a word and right mouse click it - in this way you can perform a 'Google' web search on any word in a web page. The search results appear in a new tab.
How to use it

  • Euroclydon
  • Raman spectroscopy
  • Kuiper Belt Object

Even though they're not links, select either in 'Firefox' and right-mouse-click - follow 'Search web for '...' and Firefox does just that ...

If you find 'Context menu web searches' useful, investigate the Firefox 'Dictionary search' extension, which allows you to highlight a word and display info on it from an online dictionary ...
