Coming to Bath Spa as a student? The student portal is your essential access point to the finance and the Student Programmes Office systems that we all use to provide for your teaching at University.
It's easy to use, but you'll need to create your account - which you can set up via the web as soon as you have a place with us.

Starting Point: What you Need
Once you have the following, you can create your account.
Your UCAS Application Number or Bath Spa Student Number
At the least, you'll need to have an offer to study at Bath Spa University in the current academic year. Find either of those numbers on correspondence from either UCAS or the University.
Access to an email account
We'll use this to send you your account details. If you don't have an email account yourself, ask a trusted friend or relative if they can help you by providing an email address to which your details can be sent.

Using any web browser, go to https://studentportal.bathspa.ac.uk/ - Once you've created your account, simply log on and you'll be able to use the portal.

Once you have this information, go to the student portal and create your account. You'll find step by step instructions there.
Using the student portal
Once you've created your account you'll be able to log into the student portal from wherever you are, and you'll find you can:
Address and contact details - including your mobile number
Keep this info up to date - you can receive timetable and exam information direct to your phone via text message. Should this information change, log on and update it.
Make a payment for tuition fees and more
The student portal provides access to Finance's systems
View and print your timetable, exam schedule, even exam marks
The Student Programmes Office systems look after this information for you, and you can retrieve it in a tidy way via the student portal
Retrieve various services via text messaging to your mobile phone or email
Send certain keywords by text to the student portal's phone number and it will reply with timetable info, exam schedules and more.
