Personal computers cost upwards of seven six five whatever ... hundred pounds to buy, and rather more in support costs before they expire: when you're stuck with something to do with email or web, before taking an axe to the screen in frustration, have a look in here first, and if it doesn't help please tell me. It will make you feel better about things and help the next person too.
To March 10th 2010Info added to the unified comms resource including a simple login page, and more on voicemail including alternate greetings.
February 2010 - new resource on the University's phone system - which will actually become a Unified Comms system.
December 2009 - Search put through the wringer to improve its focus and presentation. Atomz now has the site template (there's a copy in the root folder called search-results.html - to cope with updates, do a 'Two-stage switch and copy', to rescue the customised Atomz search block from the remote copy of the template ...). The Atomz-specific <noindex> tag now wraps nav menu sections. (This breaks page validation but improves search.)
December 2009 - Wiki information improved again and linked from main menu.
November 2009 - Wiki information tweaked cruelly, and link added from masthead.
October 2009 - change to remove a border in the stylesheet 'cos IE6 and 7 aren't happy with it. Also, pages on Wikis released into the wild. ECDL training up and running again now.
May 2009 - minor change to code to remove the expression before the doctype declaration as IE8 isn't happy with it. Then reverted this later as it upset something else ... <?xml version="1.0"?><!-- This is here to negate ie6 text selection bug --> <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
January 2009 - Information on ECDL updated to reflect that we now use web based delivery for the training.

August 2007 - Updates to the information on Minerva - to reflect what's changed with the August 2007 upgrade.

July 2006 - New info and link to Student Portal from all pages as part of 'Quick links' bar on all pages. Info on ALERT team.

New for Autumn 2002 - improved resource on Outlook and Webmail, updates to many pages, improvements to use of colour.
