Bath Spa's Wiki if you're external to the University

Using the Wiki: info for University Visitors

Confluence, the swiss army knife of softwareTo use the wiki, you'll probably need an account - your University contact will be able to arrange a special account called a 'Confluence account' - with the Wiki software itself. You won't need a University staff account.

Once you have an account, you'll find you can log in to the Bath Spa Wiki.

Once you're logged in, you'll find you're able to use the wiki in the same way as member of staff. It's useful to remember that the Wiki is divided into 'Spaces' - with permissions set for each space, so it's possible that permissions will need to be set for you to use a particular space. Hopefully this will have been done at the same time as arranging your account, but if it appears not, get in touch with your 'University Wiki contact' and they'll sort it out.

Apart from that, when you need more help with using the Wiki, the information you need is the same as if you were a member of staff, so the following pages on using the Wiki as a viewer, or as a contributor will hopefully be helpful to you.

The wiki: working with attached files

You should find you can view files attached to pages - and attach files yourself. Note the following:
