Mark's Help Troubleshooting WPA2-Enterprise to Studentnet / Securenet

When you've problems with connecting to 'studentnet'

You don't need to know that studentnet is a WPA2-Enterprise wireless network that uses Protected EAP and MSCHAPv2. If everything's in place, as soon as it has your account details, your machine will 'Just connect'.

When something's wrong, the problem will lie with one of the following:

Your typing
Very few people are immune to this. Check and double check that you've typed your username and password. (More from the troubleshooter)
Your Account
This isn't common and you can probably dismiss it. To diagnose this, if you can't connect using your own machine, and neither can you set up your account with 'studentnet' on a friends' computer - one that connects with their account details - it may be that your account has a problem that prevents you from connecting - even if it lets you log in to, say, Minerva. Your Machine
Before connecting to 'studentnet', use your machine on another network connection and make sure that its automatic updates have been running.
